WORLD INDEXES, Monthly Performance Report, July 2020
IFRC Indexes has just released the July 2020 monthly report on World index performance.
Based on about 2000 indices calculated by IFRC, and other indices calculated by other providers such as the stock exchanges (DOW JONES, FTSE, S&P, etc.), this report compares performance over the month and the year in progress , the ranking of the 100 indices selected according to different types of benchmark, bluechips, sector, strategy, thematic, ... .

VIX, The Fear or Market Sentiment Index
VIX, the Chicago Board Options Exchange's CBOE Volatility Index, measures the stock market's expectation of volatility based on S&P 500 index options. It is calculated and disseminated on a real-time basis by the CBOE, and is often referred to as the fear index or fear gauge.
How to use VIX for Trading and Market Predicting
Is the predictability linked to market volatility? Is it more obvious in the case of high market volatility like the case since the beginning of the year?

Market's Circuit Breakers Update
On March, 17th, 2020, the U.S. stock market plunged to its worst day in more than three decades with the drop of 12.18% for S&P 500. The Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged 2,997 points, or 12.9%, and, likewise, the S&P 500 had its worst loss since the Black Monday crash of 1987.
Women-led firms on the rise in Vietnam
It is widely known that the world’s trend is moving towards gender equality and finding the balance between the numbers of male and female participating in the workforce. When compared with ASEAN, in 2014, Vietnam was the country that had the second highest percentage of number of women CEO with the value of 6.71%, just following after Philippines with 8.05% (IFRC research, 2014).

Economics & Financial Research Online Platform
According to "The Asia University Ranking" in 2018, there was no Vietnamese Universities among 359 Asian Universities on the list which proved the fact that the infrastructure of researching platform in Vietnam is still really weak, especially in the financial market. That is the reason why IFRC decided to launch an "Economics & Financial Research Online Platform" so as to enhance the quality of research publication by making the process of conducting research become quicker, easier and of higher quality.
